    Reserve wing welcomes new commander

    The 445th Airlift Wing welcomed a new commander in a ceremony held inside the new fuel system hangar April 6, 2008. Col. Stephen D. Goeman, who recently served as the vice commander of the 459th Air Refueling Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., took command from Brig. Gen. Bruce E. Davis.     A parked and unoccupied C-5 Galaxy operated by the 445th Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, was struck by lightning about 2 a.m. March 28, 2008. The C-5 was struck in the tail section.     The Air Force Reserve Command recently announced the new commander for the 445th Airlift Wing, Col. Stephen D. Goeman. Colonel Goeman is the vice commander of the 459th Air Refueling Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Md.  He serves as the senior air reserve technician responsible for 1,300 assigned wing personnel in 20 units employing eight KC-135R
