What do you like about working at the 445th?

The opportunities and the people. During my time here, I've been to arctic survival training in the dead of winter in Alaska, and participated in amazing personnel recovery exercises. I parachute regularly to teach the aircrew and conduct fly-aways for several organizations. I enjoy working with different aircrew/aircrafts. SERE is not a desk job and allows me to get out and enjoy the scenery while teaching what I love best, survival.

Why did you join the Air Force?

Quality of life and career opportunities. To escape the Army.
