445th Logistics Readiness Squadron Airmen Senior Master Sgt. Douglas Schaumleffel, ground transportation NCO in charge, and Master Sgt. Mark Reel, logistics supply manager, were runners for the 2T1 Warrior Wreath Project. They brought their wreath to Goodman’s grave, located at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. This project is put together by the ground transportation community and has become an annual event to honor the fallen from the career field.

Wreaths were sent from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming across the country to bases who had volunteered to deliver them for Veterans Day to the graves of members who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Goodman was currently serving in Afghanistan, assigned to the 43rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, based at Pope Air Force Base, N.C. (now Pope Army Airfield). She died near Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device.
