CMSAF Cody visits the 445th Airlift Wing

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Staff Sgt. Eric Whiteaker, 445th Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight metals technology journeyman, shows Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody how the MAXIEM abrasive water jet machine makes cuts in metal during his visit to the wing March 21. The machine cuts materials, such as marble, granite, glass, tile, stone, composites, as well as metals such as aluminum, tool steel, titanium, and carbon fiber.
