A 445th Airlift Wing C-5 sits on the flightline at Kuwait International Airport. The 445th Airlift Wing began flying regular missions to Kuwait in January, 2008, in support of U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. The flights leave Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, load cargo at an East Coast base, then fly into Ramstein AB, Germany. The plane then heads to Kuwait and makes its way back to Wright-Patt.
