    Airmen with the 445th Airlift Wing participate in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) training Oct. 6, 2019, at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. CBRN training equips airmen with the skills needed to operate in an environment that has been corrupted by chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear contaminants.

  • Greater Dayton area civic leaders tour Air Force Academy

    Nineteen Greater Dayton area civic leaders participated in a civic leader tour hosted by the 445th Airlift Wing Oct. 9-10 at both Peterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The group left Wright-Patterson Air Force Base onboard one of the wing’s C-17 Globemaster IIIs to Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

  • 718th IS supports sister squadron

    A key component to total force integration relationships is providing critical support to host units. This past year Master Sgt. David Meyers, 718th Intelligence Squadron, stepped up to assist the 718th IS’ sister unit, the 45th Intelligence Squadron, as forensic intelligence program manager, responsible for a team of 23 analysts who conducted 24/7 Gorgon Stare 2 (GS2) Post-Ingest Exploitation (PIE) imagery analysis.
