Chief Master Sgt. Aaron D. Doss is the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 655th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He serves as the principal enlisted advisor to the Commander on all issues regarding operational readiness, mission effectiveness, professional development, morale, and welfare of the Air Force Reserves’ sole ISR wing, with over 1,200 military and civilian personnel across the globe, spanning two groups, fourteen squadrons, and seven operating locations.
Chief Master Sgt. Doss, was born in Meridian Mississippi and raised in Atlanta Georgia where he joined the Air Force in June 2004. Throughout his career he has served in a variety of roles at the Squadron, Group, Numbered Air Force and Major Command levels. As a core Defender (Security Forces Member) CMSgt. Doss has led and managed various security forces function including operations, training, logistics and combat arms. He also led numerous MAJCOM-level shooting teams in four different countries across the globe in support of AFRC’s foreign partnership building objectives. He is a facilitator for the AFRC Professional Development Center where he travels the CONUS teaching senior leadership skills to further develop reserve citizen Airmen, RegAF and Guardians. CMSgt. Doss has served as a key focal point for the reserve security forces role in the Air Force’s nuclear support/tanker refueling mission, and has deployed in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and SPARTAN SHIELD. Prior to his current assignment he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 94th Mission Support Group at Dobbins Air Reserve Base Georgia.
