What I like about the 445th is that there has been a family oriented environment created within the individual shops as well as the 445th as a whole. . Why did you join the Air Force? I originally joined for the extra income and the school benefits. As time went on, I developed a genuine respect for the armed services and the role we play in protecting the civil liberties that so many individuals, including myself, take for granted on a day to day basis. I take extreme pride in being part of the armed forces.
