Tech. Sgt. Anthony Springer, 445th Airlift Wing Public Affairs, was selected as the Aeronautical Systems Center Simulators Division, Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter, second quarter, June 28. At the next level, he was recognized as the NCO of the Quarter for the Agile Combat Support Directorate at the ASC quarterly awards breakfast held at the Wright-Patt Club July 20.

Currently on orders as a communications subject matter expert (SME) with the Simulators Division, Sergeant Springer assumed responsibility as database manager, logistician and web designer in addition to his Mobility Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (MAF DMO) program communications duties. He cemented $200,000 in network infrastructure savings at the Distributed Training Center facility Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Sergeant Springer developed a communications infrastructure planning protocol for C-17 Air Mobility training bases, enabling AMC Live Virtual and Constructive training. Outside of the office, Sergeant Springer conducted aerial photography support for the May 2011 Base Motorcycle Safety Day.

"I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve the Simulator's Division's MAF DMO program and to be recognized for my efforts," Springer said.
