445th Airlift Wing Professional Development Seminar

Register now for the 445th Airlift Wing Total Force Professional Development Seminar taking place Nov. 8-9 at the Hope Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to all active duty, Guard and Reserve members, sister services and civilians.

Registration fees of $55 are a condition of attendance and are authorized and approved for reimbursement. Deadline to register for the seminar is Nov. 2.

Service members from all branches of service will be represented on both a commander's panel and a senior enlisted panel. Officer, enlisted, and civilian breakout sessions will give attendees the opportunity to gather information that pertains to their rank structure and career milestones pertaining to their careers during various stages.

Multiple guest speakers are scheduled for the seminar, including:

· Senior Master Sgt. Jose Barraza: an award-winning instructor at the Air Force Senior NCO Academy at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and motivational speaker

· Tina Durkin: International Federation of Body Building and Fitness, fitness professional and former 445th Airlift Wing Airman

· Lt. Col. Ralph Lund, certified financial planner and regular financial section contributor to Citizen Airmen magazine

· Maj. (ret.) Carl S. Savino, co-author of "From Air Force Blue to Corporate Gray: A Career Transition Guide for Air Force Personnel"

· Master Sgt. Patrick Stevens: 349th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight, 349th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., EOD technician and Wounded Warrior
