WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Master Sgt. Stephanie Strickland, an aeromedical evacuation technician instructor in the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron who is currently on active duty orders as an assistant unit deployment manager for the Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters, was recently named as one of the top 10 nominees for the 2010 Service Persons of the Year Distinguished Service Award sponsored by the Armed Forces Community Relations Council of Columbus, Ohio. The award recognizes current military members, who are stationed in Ohio, and their outstanding service.

Sergeant Strickland's service was recognized May 14 at the 2010 Central Ohio Armed Forces Day Observance Luncheon sponsored by the Military/Veterans Educational Foundation and the USO of Central Ohio.
