Senior Master Sgt. Lisa Rodriguez, 445th Maintenance Group first sergeant, has been selected as the wing's First Sergeant of the Year.

Sergeant Rodriguez has been with the wing for 11 years; 3.5 of those years in maintenance. She was selected as the wing logistics compliance assessment program superior performer for her unit's family care program - 13 of 13 plans exceeded the requirements with zero discrepancies. Her relentless and tenacious efforts resolved a deployed Airman's travel reimbursement issue; avoiding delinquency. Sergeant Rodriguez recently co-chaired the maintenance group's holiday fare with more than 400 adults and 130 children in attendance. She is active in the base community; to include being a lifetime member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and a member of the Air Force Association.

Sergeant Rodriguez's package will now go up to the 4th Air Force for their board.
