BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Due to a financial system upgrade, the Air Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserve (AROWS-R) will be unavailable from 31 May – 15 June 2019. Orders requests will not be routed in AROWS-R during this time.
Any requests for orders for IRs/IMAs that start between 31 May and 15 June should be submitted in AROWS-R immediately to allow time to process the request and publish the orders.
Annual Tour (AT) orders must be published by 30 June of each fiscal year, in accordance with AFI 36-2254, V1. This allows funding to be secured for the orders. All remaining AT for the rest of this fiscal year must be submitted in AROWS-R no later than 30 May 19 to be published by 30 Jun 19. Due to fiscal constraints across the Air Force Reserve, late AT requests will likely not be funded this year. To ensure satisfactory participation requirements are met, be sure all AT is submitted in AROWS-R by the deadline. IRs should contact their servicing detachments with questions.
