Col. Bryan Runion, 445th Mission Support Group commander, was the guest speaker at the Memorial Day Service for the City of Versailles, Ohio, May 27, 2019.

The two local veteran’s organizations, Versailles Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3849 and Versailles American Legion Post 435 along with the American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of American Legion sponsored the patriot service.

Colonel Runion participated in a parade that concluded at the Greenlawn Cemetery where the ceremony was held. The parade paused at the Swamp Creek Bridge to honor those that have fallen before proceeding to the cemetery. Two flower girls representing both the VFW and the American Legion cast flowers into the creek.
