WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The 445th Airlift Wing and 655th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing hosted members of the 2024 LEADership Wright-Patt April 23, 2024.
LEADership Wright-Patt (LWP) is a tactical leadership development program offered once a year over a five month period consisting of 10 contact days and is designed to educate, train, and inspire a network of WPAFB potential leaders and increase the participant’s awareness of WPAFB’s missions, visions, goals, priorities, values, and purpose to enable them to become exceptional leaders who serve the people of WPAFB and the surrounding community.
The program takes its participants through tailored organizational mission briefs, training, individualized work groups, panel discussions, direct interaction with WPAFB leadership, and a variety of programmed activities focusing on the global perspective of WPAFB.
While at the 445th AW, the group enjoyed listening to the mission of both wings given by Col Philip Warlick, 655th ISR Wing commander, and Col Matthew Muha, 445th Airlift Wing deputy commander. The group also participated in a leadership panel with Col Warlick and Col Michael Baker, 445th Operations Group commander. The last part of the visit had the group touring a 445th AW C-17 Globemaster III.
