Tax help available on base Published Jan. 20, 2016 By 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Military members, retirees, and dependents can begin scheduling appointments for free income tax preparations at the Tax Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as early as Jan. 25. There will be a short, three-day window for walk-ins who are active-duty members (E-4 and below only) from Jan. 25-29. Starting Feb. 1, all filings will be done by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling the center at 937-656-1423. The center, located in Area A in Bldg. 70, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
