Due to the ongoing Government Shutdown, the 445th Airlift Wing Oct. 19 - 20 unit training assembly has been postponed to Nov. 23 and 24. The Scarlet and Gray UTAs for November are still scheduled.

Nov. 23 - 24 will not be a normal UTA. The rescheduled UTA will be for squadron activities only. Members should contact their supervisors for all rescheduling options.

"I would like to personally apologize to the men and women of the 445th Airlift Wing for the inconvenience this may cause them, their families and employers. I encourage members who aren't available Nov. 23 and 24 to work with their supervisors to schedule a date that works best for them and their families," said Col. Stephen D. Goeman, 445th Airlift Wing commander.

Lodging reservations scheduled for Oct. 19 - 20 will automatically be cancelled. Physical health assessments scheduled for October will be moved to Nov. 3. Members should contact their unit fitness program manager to reschedule their October fitness testing.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to go through these difficult times," Goeman added.

For questions or concerns regarding the reschedule, members should contact their supervisors. The latest information will also be posted on the 445th Airlift Wing web site, the unit's FaceBook page and Straight Talk line at (937) 656-1885.
