WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio --

More than 90 students from six local high schools: Thurgood Marshall, Wayne, Springboro, Lebanon, Dayton Early College Academy, and the Dayton Regional STEM School joined members of the 445th Airlift Wing as part of the 2016 Wings of Women Conference Sept. 30, 2016.

The youth participated in a mentor lunch, C-17 Globemaster III and aeromedical evacuation tours, and hands-on demonstrations by the security forces, aerospace medicine and civil engineer squadrons. The wing hosted the group as part of its diversity initiative.
