WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Rhea Woltman, one of the 13 women pilots known as the First Lady Astronaut Trainees (later known as the Mercury 13) that were selected to undergo the same testing program as the Mercury astronauts, shares her memories and experiences of the program to more than 60 attendees of the Sixth Annual Wings of Women Conference Oct. 5, 2012. The guests enjoyed the afternoon at the 445th Airlift Wing listening to guest speakers, touring a 445th AW C-17 Globemaster III and watching the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron perform a demonstration.
