445th AW provides medical care to Panama residents
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - During his visit to the C.E.B.G. Laventa school near Las Minas Aug. 23, Governor of Coclé Province, Panama, Fernando Nuniez Fabre, welcomes Lt. Col. Michael Rives, 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, acting troop commander for a humanitarian mission in support of Panama MEDRETE, and Dr Aleyda Tejeira, regional director of the ministry of health, Coclé province. The governor inquired about the types of medical services being offered, types of patients seen and their conditions, and the origin of the 445th AW reservists and their civilian occupations back in the states. The governor also discussed the economic status of the region and the direction he is taking towards improving the economy and quality of life for the citizens of Coclé Province.
