Local students honor their heroes on 9-11
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Valley Forge Elementary School principal Laurenze Sussman recognizes the men and women from the local police and fire departments and the 445th Airlift Wing during the school’s Patriot Day memorial ceremony Sept. 11. Twenty five reservists from the wing along with the Wayne High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard participated in the ceremony with an audience of 600 Kindergarten through 6th grade students.
