445th AW supports Panama humanitarian mission

Thirty Airmen from the 445th AMDS and 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron traveled to Central America with Airmen from March Air Reserve Base, Calif., Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y., and Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., in Central America as part of a humanitarian mission to support Panama Medical Readiness Training Exercise (MEDRETE) Aug. 18 to Aug. 31, providing more than 9,000 dental, dermatological, general medicine, optometry and ophthalmology services to more than 5,000 residents living in remote areas who have limited or no access to medical care.
