Active shooter training
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Tech. Sgt. Siam Siripavaket, 445th Security Forces Squadron, shoots a hostage taker as other Airman from the 445th Security Forces Squadron enter the room behind him. The simulated hostage scenario was part of the Active Shooter Training the Ohio State Highway Patrol Special Response Team offered to security forces Airmen from here May 20 in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Special Response Team has provided similar training to more than 6,000 law enforcement and peace officers throughout the state, including Airmen from the 88th Security Forces Squadron.
