445th Maintenance Squadron Manufactures Intricate Display
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio - Technical Sergeant Jason Cox, 445th Maintenance Squadron, uses a blast of air to remove metal chips and machining coolant from one of the letters he is creating for the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force display. The fluid, which looks like milk, is designed to to keep the drill bit sharp and free of debris and keep the metal being worked on cool. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech Sgt. Charlie Miller)
