445th Airlift Wing's Fuel System Maintenance Hangar foam test
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio - The 445th Airlift Wing's new Fuel System Maintenance Hangar is prepared for a final fire suppression foam test Nov. 15, 2007, before the hangar is turned over to the wing. The Fuels hangar will be the first hangar completed since the 445th has aquired the C-5 Galaxy aircraft. The $65 million construction project accomodates the wing's ten C-5s and includes two new tail-in hangars, the fuels hangar, a new squadron operations building, along with other renovations.
