Water-tight suit protects crew
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio – Senior Airman Kortnee Widup, 445th Operational Support Squadron, gathers up her gear as she walks out of the marina during water survival training wearing a CWU16 anti-exposure suit. The water-tight suit is worn by aircrews when they are flying over cold water areas. It covers the entire body and adds an hour to surviving in frigid water. (Air Force photo/Lt. Col. Jim Couzins)
