Confined Space Emergency Extraction exercise
The 445th Airlift Wing's Maintenance Squadron and the 88th Air Base Wing Fire Department work together during a Confined Space Emergency Extraction exercise August 15, 2008. The Fire Department stabilizes the simulated injured worker and works to get him down from the wing of the C-5 aircraft. The exercise helps define the best processes to rescue workers in the event they become trapped in a confined space while working on the C-5 Galaxy. (U.S. Air Force photo/Laura Darden)
