Ready on a moment’s notice – the 306th RQS pararescuemen
DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. – A pararecueman (PJ) assigned to the 306th Rescue Squadron (Air Force Reserve) completes a jump during a training mission March 2 over Eloy, Arizona. PJ’s are specifically organized, trained and equipped to conduct personnel recovery operations in hostile or denied areas as a primary mission. The 306th RQS is a subordinate unit of the 943rd Rescue Group, which trains and equips Citizen Airmen to perform personnel recovery operations worldwide. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
