C-17s join Army to tote the load
An Army M1A1SA Abrams Main Battle Tank is secure in the cargo area of a 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III April 10 at Wright Army Airfield, Ga. Soldiers and Airmen worked in unison over two days to load and secure four of the 1/118th Combat Arms Brigade’s new M1A1SA Abrams Main Battle Tanks onto four C-17s belonging to the 445th AW and the 315th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, S.C.
