Low level jump training prepares soldiers for combat
JOINT-BASE ELMENDORF, Alaska - Airborne soldiers with the 25th Infantry Division stationed, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska perform a low-level night jump from a C-17 Globemaster III Aug.1, 2014. The soldiers conduct a rigorous pre-jump routine, the day before the actual jump and go through equipment checks as well as techniques for exiting the aircraft and emergency procedures.
