Don’t forget your flu shot!
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Maj. Karen Keller, 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, administers an influenza vaccine to a 445th Airlift Wing Airman for the 2014-15 flu season. The vaccination was administered to wing reservists during the October 2014 unit training assembly. Flu shots cannot prevent all cases of flu, but it is the best defense against the disease. It takes about two weeks for the body to develop protection after the vaccination, and the protection lasts several months to one year. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Tech. Sgt. Anthony G. Springer)
