Wing supports Dayton homeless vets stand down event

Anthony Phillips 445th Civil Engineer Squadron operations management apprentice, distributes clothing items to a local vet during the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center Homeless Vets Stand Down event Sept. 30, 2016. 445th Airlift Wing volunteers participated in the annual event that provides a meal, clothing, health screenings, VA and Social Security benefits counseling, and referrals to a variety of other necessary services, such as: housing, employment, substance abuse and mental health treatment services to more than 300 veterans.
