445 AW hosts Dayton public schools outreach event
Master Sgt. Kiley Gerritsen, 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron medical technician, shows students from Thurgood Marshall and Meadowdale High Schools some of the equipment his squadron uses when flying on an AE mission. More than 70 students from Thurgood Marshall and Meadowdale High Schools visited the 445th Airlift Wing Oct. 20, 2017 as part of the Dayton public schools outreach initiative. The students participated in demonstrations by the 445th Security Forces, 445th Civil Engineer, 445th Aerospace Medicine and 445th Operations Support Squadrons. The students were treated to lunch by 445th AW recruiters and ended their visit by touring a C-17 Globemaster III with Airmen from the 445th AES and 89th Airlift Squadron on board (U.S. Air Force photo/Stacy Vaughn)
