DoD bars geolocation devices on deployments
E-3A Component personnel use an iPhone application to track the arrival of a TNT aircraft Nov. 18, 2014, at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany. Under a new DoD directive, devices with geolocation capabilities won't be allowed in deployment situations.
