Aircrew flight equipment shop key to mission success
Staff Sgt. Addison Wyckoff, 445th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, rotates a packed parachute off a C-17 Globemaster III, to be replaced by a newly-packed parachute, as part of a formal monthly inspection process. The aircrew flight equipment shop is responsible for maintaining parachutes like these, used by loadmasters during aerial delivery operations, as well as other critical equipment, like the three emergency rafts installed on each of the 445th Airlift Wing’s aircraft.
