Training conducted for wing's medical squadrons
445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron Airmen run tests on a SimMan ALS manikin, Nov. 2, 2019. These ASTS members will become the training cadre for the medical technicians and nurses from all three medical units at the 445th Airlift Wing; 445th ASTS, 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron. The manikin’s advanced construction and computer systems allows the cadre to simulate illnesses for those training to identify and treat. ASTS was designated as the keeper of the $45,000 manikin.
