Making wing history
The 655th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing’s 28th Intelligence Squadron based at Hurlburt Field, Florida, is making history for the wing as it is led entirely by women. Under the command of Lt. Col. Elisabeth Applegate, the 28th IS is home to more than 70 Reserve Barracudas, specializing in providing airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operators to special operations forces worldwide.
