Flag Day
The Boulevard of Flags was established on Oct. 4, 1988 by the John C. Stennis Chapter of the Air Force Association to represent and honor the homes of our technical training students. It includes the 50 U.S. state flags and the flags for the District of Columbia and all 5 U.S. territories and is currently maintained by the 81st Training Wing Protocol Office. The monument is a reminder today of the history of each flag and the diverse culture of the U.S. military. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
