445th AW flies donated fire truck bound for Belize

Holly Monast (right) and her sister, Hannah York, pose in front of a fire truck before it was loaded on board a 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III July 5, 2022. The C-17 flew to Joint Base Charleston, S.C., and has been pre-positioned for its next movement on July 11, 2022 to Belize. James York, III, started the process to have the donated fire truck flown to Belize through the Denton Program but passed away in March of this year soon after his request was approved. His daughters wanted to honor his wishes of seeing his plan go thru.
