445th participates in Operation Merciful Valkyrie

Senior Airman Troy Bassant, 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron propulsion journeyman, makes adjustments to an engine cradle during an engine swap on a C-17 Globemaster III at WPAFB Sept. 13, 2022. 445th Airlift Wing maintainers were key players for the eight launches a day, executed three days in a row, for a total of 24 launches for Operation Merciful Valkyrie on top of other real-world missions the wing was supporting at the same time.
