Zachary Allen, 89th Airlift Squadron, and Tech. Sgt. Isaac Graham Jr., 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, June 1, 2024. Also part of the crew honored were Maj. Jeremiah Brown, 445th Operations Support Squadron, and Capt. Cecilia Photinos, 89th AS (both not pictured). The Airmen were awarded medals for their efforts during Operation Allies Refuge where Photino, Brown, Benefiel (a technical sergeant at the time), Allen and Graham were a pilot/aircraft commander, pilot, loadmaster, loadmaster and crew chief, respectively, for the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, from Aug. 21-31, 2021.
