C-17 sim trainer dedicated in honor of late 89 AS loadmaster

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – A dedication ceremony honoring the late Master Sgt. Don Boudinet, a former 89th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, was held Sept. 12, 2015 at the C-17 Simulator Training Facility here. The Don Boudinet C-17 Training System is dedicated to Boudinet’s hard work and dedication to the installation and acceptance of the C-17 flight simulator and loadmaster trainer. Lewis, Director of Air, Space and Information Operations, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base Georgia, tests the Ingersoll Rand Ergonomic Handling System while visiting with members of the 445th Maintenance Squadron August 27, 2015. This in-house initiative put in place an ergonomic lifting device with a floating load unit, which aids picking, lifting, and moving of the C-17 Globemaster III wheels. This process improvement greatly reduces the risks of manual lifting injuries long associated with this repair process. Maj. Gen Maj. Richard S. Haddad, Air Force Reserve Command vice commander, Maj.
