Sheet metal work helps add life to C-5

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio --  Staff Sgt. Joe Edwards, 445th Maintenance Squadron aerospace ground equipment mechanic, drains hydraulic fluid from a 60 ton aircraft jack. Sergeant Edwards identified a cracked weld on the hydraulic tank, which will be repaired here on base.  The 445th Airlift Wing has 10 C-5A model Galaxy aircraft assigned and a work force of approximately 300 officers and 1,850 enlisted troops.
