445th Airlift Wing Senior NCO of the Quarter, fourth quarter

Master Sgt. Mark Lyle, Superintendent, 445th Airlift Wing and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard, is the 445th Airlift Wing's Senior NCO of the Quarter. During the quarter, Lyle led the 58-member base honor guard program in conducting 625 funerals and 121 ceremonial events. He manages $1.25 million in assets in his position. The sergeant trained and recruited 57 Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve augmentees from nine bases to provide relief to the active-duty resources. Lyle has been named the Air Force Honor Guard Program Manager of the Year; he's also the recipient for the sixth year in a row for the award at the Air Force Reserve Command level. Lyle is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration.
