445th Airlift Wing Airman of the Quarter, fourth quarter

Senior Airman Jaymes Cardwell, 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron medical technician, is the 445th Airlift Wing's Airman of the Quarter. Cardwell launched and recovered 53 AE training missions, supporting the readiness of 80 squadron members. He helped with the training and implementation of AE tactics for 12 members of the C-17 Systems Program Office. The Airman assisted the 88th Air Base Wing during an active shooter real world incident by providing patient comfort and safety during the incident response. During his off-duty time, Cardwell volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House where he directly contributes to the care of 14 families. He's a member of the 445th Airman's Council and is currently enrolled in the University of Texas Environmental Engineering master's degree program.
