445th Airlift Wing SNCO of the Quarter, first quarter Published Feb. 6, 2012 By 445th Airlift Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Master Sgt. Cleve Samuel, III, 87th Aerial Port Squadron air transportation craftsman, is the 445th Airlift Wing's Senior NCO of the Quarter, first quarter. Samuel volunteered for his second deployment to Southwest Asia in two years. While deployed, he directed more than 3,800 missions, delivering 166,000 tons of cargo and 58,000 passengers with a 99 percent on time delivery rate. He oversaw the recovery of Air Force pallets, nets and radio frequency identification tags at his deployed location, saving the Air Force more than $8.9 million in assets. Samuel was also selected as the senior NCO of the month during his deployment. During his off-duty time, the sergeant is involved with Crayons to Computers, assisting teachers distributing school supplies to poor children. He's also pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
