445th AW reservists serve Thanksgiving dinner to Airmen
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Two reservists from the 445th Airlift Wing volunteered at the base’s annual Airman’s Homestyle Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 17 at the Jarvis Gym. Lt. Col. Linda Stokes-Crowe, 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Peri Rogowski, 445th Airlift Wing command chief, sported chefs hats and aprons to serve Thanksgiving meals alongside commanders, first sergeants, and other volunteers from across the base to single/unaccompanied Airmen and family members of deployed personnel. Sponsored by the 88th Air Base Wing Chaplain’s office, and coordinated by Chaplain (Capt.) William Spencer, 88th ABW chaplain’s office, Airmen enjoyed a night of music from the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, and a home-style cooked Thanksgiving dinner prepared by the Wright-Patterson Club.
