Twenty three civic leaders from the local area of Scott Air Force Base, Ill., and their military escorts from the 375th Airlift Wing and 932nd Airlift Wing, spent the day touring the 445th Airlift Wing and the National Museum of the United States Air Force Sept. 23.

Col. Roger Gallet, 445th Operations Group commander and Col. Brad Spacy, 88th Air Base Wing commander, welcomed and provided wing mission briefings to the group.

Maj. Todd Mulhorn, 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, gave the group an overview of the mission of the 445th AES and provided stories on different missions the squadron has supported.   Before heading back to Illinois, the group was able to spend some time on the flightline touring a C-5 Galaxy aircraft.
