WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio --

445th Force Support Squadron services apprentices served lunch at the Wright-Patterson Air Force base Pitsenbarger Dining Facility during the February unit training assembly. As a services apprentice in the food service core, new Airmen learn how to read, prepare and serve recipes to nourish members before and during the duty day. In the dining facility, the Airmen not only served meals, they also wrapped leftover food and ensured food is stored at safe temperatures for use in other meal times.
