445 AW SNCO of the Quarter, fourth quarter

Master Sgt. Eric Peters, 445th Maintenance Group propulsion flight chief, is the 445th Airlift Wing Senior NCO of the Quarter, fourth quarter.

Peters ensured the accountability and adherence to procedures, standards and safety for the maintenance group, enabling sortie reliability of 98.7 percent. He oversaw the management of 21 job standard template packages, developing a source data program to manage updates and changes in accordance to technical orders.

Peters organized a free C-17 auxiliary power unit training provided by Triumph Air Repair, a training opportunity for maintainers worth $19,000.

During his off-duty time, Peters raised more than $1,300 for Honor Flight Dayton, helping to send veterans to Washington, D.C. The sergeant is close to completing a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the Univ. of Phoenix.
